About

Scott McGovern is a lifelong traveler and adventurer with a passion for capturing unique perspectives around the world through his photography. Many of Scott’s photos document extremely remote places with little or no human impact. His curiosity and love for the natural world is clearly depicted in these photos of untouched wilderness, but his talent is not limited to natural surroundings. In his photos you will also see intimate human stories as he explores the relationship between people, culture, and the environment.

Scott currently works as an educator in Peterborough, NH teaching math and outdoor education at a small independent school. When he’s not teaching he can be found coaching the local high school cross-country ski team, climbing Mount Monadnock, tending to his garden, and planning the next big adventure with his wife Peggy.
